Just a few days ago, my mom and stepfather had this beautiful home, filled with love, warmth, and precious memories. They lived here with many animal companions, including their 3 dogs, Molly, Junior, and Mindy.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, their home burned to the ground. This is what remains today.
My parents' lives were spared, as were their beloved dogs'. There are many irreplaceable things that were lost in the fire--photos, family heirlooms, art, keepsakes--and that is so very sad. However, we are grateful that the truly irreplaceable people and animals are safe and sound.
